(1 Samuel 17)

Who was David? Do you know what he did for a job?
Can you remember who the two groups were out on the battlefield?
Why do you think the Israelites weren't fighting and were hiding away scared?
Why did David have to go to the battlefield?
What did Goliath say that made David angry?
David knew it wasn't right to speak about God like that so he was determined to fight this giant.
How did David defeat Goliath?
What skills did he have already that helped him?
Have you ever had to speak out when someone was being mean to someone else, or was saying hurtful things about God?
Did you find it easy?
How did you manage it if you did speak up? Or what would have helped you if you didn't speak up?
Pray that God would help you to speak up for others.
